Design Services:
Combining her horticultural knowledge with auto-cad design, Nan Carmack can help you create an appropriate design for your home, regardless of its style. Designs are collaborative with the home owner and emphasize correct scale, balance, and plant type with each environment.
Plans: receive complete plans for every view of your landscape with imaged views of how the landscape will look once it is fully mature (no more "too big" trees 10 years from now!)
Choices: preferences for colors, desired level of maintenance (do you want to putter or prefer to ignore?) are all taken into consideration. The design isn't finished until you are satisfied.
Phased installation: can't afford to install it all at once? All plans feature recommended phases of installation.
Detailed Care/Maintenace Instructions: all designs are accompanied by instructions on how to care for the landscape. Correct fertilizers and appropriate application schedules are included.
Pricing: Design prices are based on the size of the property in question, the average design costing about $200.
Plant Options:
Whether you choose to purchase plants directly from Little Eden is up to you. Designs are priced separately from plants but we hope you will allow us to price your plants for you--we are usually far more competitve than local nurseries. While we do not install plants, we will deliver plants to your home and lay them out in their designed placement and spacing--you just dig the holes (and we'll even show you how to do that correctly!). Deliveries further than 30 miles radius from Evington, VA will incure a 50 cents/mile delivery charge. A 50% down payment is required on all plant purchases. All Little Eden plants/trees are from local growers, supporting our local economy.
